The fitness consultation or online fitness consultation is a key step in starting a fitness journey where the fitness coach or personal trainer discuss your needs in detail. When it comes to establishing training needs, there are many factors to consider such as age, physical ability, goals, time availability and mindset. It is important that the fitness coach thoroughly understands a client’s need before creating training program which is specific to an individual. It is a great way for you to get to know your fitness coach or personal trainer.
A fitness assessment is a series of tests that measure various aspects of health and physical fitness. These may include but are not limited to, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, body composition, and flexibility. The purpose of these assessments is to establish a baseline against which future results can be compared, and secondly, to guide the development of individualized exercise programs. By understanding where a client stands fitness-wise, I can create a more targeted and effective workout program.
Personal training sessions are times set aside for our clients to work with a trainer either one-on-one or in a small group. The trainer should know your fitness goals and needs and have designed a program before/during your sessions aimed at meeting your goals. The trainer will also:
